MI PASTE
MI paste is a Water-based, sugar-free topical creme with a special blend of polishing, cleaning and dentin tubule sealing agents. The paste itself resembles toothpaste, but contains no grittiness or harsh flavoring. It comes in five tasty flavors - melon, mint, strawberry, tutti frutti and vanilla.

MI Paste Indications MI Paste is indicated for post-bleaching sensitivity, root planing and scaling, and helps to remineralize surface decalicification and white-spot lesions.
Teeth need calcium, phosphate and fluoride. Healthy saliva contains these minerals, and togetherwith certain proteins in your saliva, MI paste is able to deliver calcium and phosphate to the tooth surface during the demineralization/remineralization process. Calcium and phosphate are known to help:
  1. Stregthen tooth enamel
  2. Reduce sensitivity
  3. Buffer plaque acid

MI Paste contains RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP). This technology has a unique ability to deliver bio-available calcium and phosphate directly to the areas needed most. MI paste binds calcium and phosphate to tooth surfaces, plaque and surrounding soft tissue. The RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) technology releases the calcium and phosphate when a patient's saliva becomes more acidic during the normal digestive process.

Features and Benefits of MI Paste:
  1. RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) is a special milk-derived protein that can help replace lost minerals in teeth, make them stronger and helps protect them from decay and erosion.
  2. Adheres easily to soft tissue, pellicle, plaque and even the tooth surface, which supplies bio-available calcium and phosphate required for remineralization to take place.
  3. Under acidic conditions, RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) releases calcium and phosphate ions into tooth enamel.
  4. Also Supplies calcium and phosphate needed for patients with poor saliva flow.
Application of MI Paste:
  1. Place a smear of paste on your fingers and rub it over all the surfaces of your teeth. If you have a specific teeth that are very sensitive, place a larger amount of MI paste directly over the sensitive area.
  2. If you have whitening trays at home, put your trays in right after you have coated all your teeth with the MI paste. This will keep the paste in direct contact with your teeth for a longer period of time.
  3. Under acidic conditions, RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) releases calcium and phosphate ions into tooth enamel.
  4. After you apply the MI paste, your teeth will feel smooth and slippery. Users have often described the feeling as "lotion for your teeth." Try to keep the paste on your teeth for as long as possible without spitting. MI paste is safe to ingest, so don't worry if you swallow some of it.
